The Friends of Gulf Gate Library (FOGG) is a group of active supporters of the Gulf Gate Library in Sarasota, Florida. They help raise community awareness and appreciation of services and resources for the library.

The Friends manage and staff the library's Bookstore with all sales supporting a wide variety of the library's activities, such as summer reading programs, library events, author visits, and creative workshops for all age groups.

Friends of the Gulf Gate Library Mission

Our mission is to serve, support, and promote the services, programs, and functions of The Gulf Gate Library, as part of the Sarasota County Public Library System.

Sarasota County Libraries and The Friends of Gulf Gate Bookstore appreciate donations of gently used newer (published in the last 10 years) hardcover and paperback books, puzzles in good condition, and jewelry. All Bookstore donations are used to support programs for the Gulf Gate Library.
