What the Friends of Gulf Gate Library Do!
The Friends of Gulf Gate Library membership dues, donations and Bookstore sales play a vital role in making the Library attractive and functional for everyone. Without your support, the FOGG would not be able to donate monies to the Sarasota Library system for the purchase of new books, audio options, provide equipment for the Computer Lab and furniture throughout the Library. Additionally, FOGG pays for a variety of educational and entertaining programs for children, teens and adults throughout the year.
The Friends Bookstore is managed by Volunteers and sells newer and gently used books, DVD’s, and curated jewelry – all at very reasonable prices! Your donations of these items are appreciated, so thank you for your continued support.

The Friends Bookstore Hours: 10am to 5pm Monday through Friday, 10am to 4pm Saturday.

Yes, however, all donated books and DVDs should be taken directly to the front desk in the library. The Bookstore appreciates all jewelry donations for our curated collection.
